Yes, especially ketchup, mayonaise, and creamy salad dressings. I work in a cafeteria and I have seen all of these go bad pretty quickly. Ketchup and mayonaise can go bad in a day if they aren’t still sealed or refrigerated. Ketchup separates. It’s really gross. The vinegar bubbles up through it and the tomato in it can go bad. Mayonaise is really just egg and oil. Would you leave eggs out on the counter? Also, creamy salad dressing is milk based. And just as milk goes bad, so does salad dressing. Most oil/vinegar based dressings are ok to leave out. bbq sauce is very similar to ketchup in the way that it goes bad. Salsa has vegetables that start to mold quicker if they are left out. I’m not sure about hot sauce though. Peanut butter DOES NOT need to be refrigerated. It goes bad eventually, but it doesn’t need refrigeration. Jelly should be refrigerated because the fruit will grow mold. Refrigerating pickles keeps them crispier. Remember that every single edible thing, if left out will
