Several SAP portlets are now available for download from the Portal Integration Solutions page on Portal Center. The SAP Portlets are also provided under an Open Source license that allows you to extend them, or reuse the code to integrate with other business applications. In addition, there are a number of integration portlets available from a variety of partners – see the Portal Catalog for more information. Our direction is to enhance these portlets and to provide similar portlets for other enterprise applications, subject to customer demand. We are also working with OracleAS Integration to provide J2CA-compatible adaptors for a variety of enterprise applications that can be used with OmniPortlet. Currently, OracleAS Integration has adaptors for SAP, Peoplesoft, Siebel, J.D. Edwards, and a number of legacy applications environments (CICS, VSAM, IMSTM, IMS/DB, Tuxedo, JMS, and others).
