Do you phillipines speak English as first language or Tagalog??
English is second language as for tagalog not all Filipino speak tagalog as their first language although it is our national language but it doesnt mean tagalog is the first language for all Filipinos. There are more than 100 dialects spoken in the Philippines. Whatever their dialect is , that would be their first language. Example Im from cebu so I speak bisaya not tagalog. So bisaya is my first language and english is my second. I rather speak english than tagalog because when i try to speak in tagalog i sound funny with a terrible accent and also i dont speak tagalog well eventhough I can understand it completely.
