First We check the modification work and the console version for known technical issues to avoid the risk of hardware failure. If the modchip and the installation work meet our standards of quality, We will offer extra trade-in value for it, otherwise We will offer the regular trade-in value if We have to redo the installation or remove and/or replace the modchip.
