There are two ways to become a paramedic: 1) You could become an ambulance technician for 2 years then progress to paramedic training, for this you will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C, Preferably in English, Maths, Science and two other subjects. 2) You could take a paramedical science degree course at a University, this is a 2-4 year degree course and you will need the 5 GCSEs grade A-C as well as 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) in biology, chemistry and something else (such as mathematics).
