Do You Need Help Paying for Cystic Fibrosis Treatment?
Do You Need Help Paying for Cystic Fibrosis Treatment? Sunday November 16, 2008 Cystic fibrosis treatment is expensive, even for people who have insurance. In todays economy, coming up with co-pays can be a strain on those with limited financial resources. If you or somebody you know is having trouble paying for cystic fibrosis treatment, a new program sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) may be able to help. Last week, the CFF announced the launch of a non-profit subsidiary called the Cystic Fibrosis Patient Assistance Foundation (CFPAF). The CFPAF, which is funded exclusively by pharmaceutical manufacturers, provides co-pay assistance for medication and equipment for those who qualify. CFPAF also offers other supportive services to those who meet eligibility requirements. Do you qualify for assistance? Other resources for financial assistance with
