Do you need an ethernet cable for wireless broadband?
If you get a wireless internet from a USB modem suplied to you by a Cellular company, you would not need ethernet cable since the wireless internet travels to your PC via Cellular signals. However, if you use cable, or dsl. You need one cable to connect your broadband modem to your wi-fi router. I think if you use a wireless usb modem then the company should take care of wireless security, but if you use a wi-fi router connected to your modem then you have to set up a network ID and password encryption.
