Do you need a dog license to receive free rabie shots?
It is not usually required since the whole idea of offering FREE rabies vaccine is to prevent an outbreak. If too many rules are applied to the access of the vaccine then it defeats the purpose of the program. Communities that demand dog licenses as a prerequisite to vaccination are not just interested in the welfare of their residents they are revenue motivated. Just to make sure, you should call the clinic offering the vaccine before you go and ask if they have any requirements such as proof of previous vaccines etc.
