A. Yes, there was a time when such practices were followed. A director was asked to follow the script or rather, I have done my job, now you do yours. But now, thankfully, it doesnt work that way. We bounce ideas about as much as the next person. The filmmaker and the agency work as a team. Inputs from filmmakers are welcomed freely nowadays. The final product is what matters. But I should also say that most creative directors know exactly what they want out of a film. They know the medium in and out.
