I like Matt Striker. He is one of the few commentators that actually refers to wrestling before it hit in the 80ies. He reminds me of a humorous Gordon Solie, bringing a really fantastic knowledge of the sport to the viewers. I also enjoy the fact that he reminds people he faced some of the people in the ring and his impressions on it. He was always going to be a mediocre wrestler, but I think he could become the WWE’s best commentator once Lawler retires. JR was decent, but I loved his stuff prior to WWE. I think he elevated that spot from the toady WWF duo of Bobby Hennan and Gorilla Monsoon. Yet he was still playing as the ‘good guy’ announcer. My final critic is that all the announcers can realize, the Divas are pretty and have bosoms. We all get it.
