Bakersfield, California: BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery Opens Up April 17, 2007 by Kimberly Lawson It’s great to see higher end restaurants like P.F. Changs and the California Pizza Kitchen open up in Bakersfield. Although I wouldn’t put BJ’s Brewery in as high of a regard as those two, it’s definitely a nice addition in a town that loves to eat! I went to BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery with a friend on Christmas Eve Eve (December 23rd) which also happened to be a Saturday, in the evening. This was probably the worst time of the entire year to go out to eat, but it was spontaneous and we really didn’t think about it until we were told we might have to wait over an hour to be seated. The restaurant is high tech and gives you those electric buzzers so you can run around and do your own thing while waiting to be seated. Unfortunately, the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere and the buzzers only work in about a 5 foot radius. I still appreciated it though, and I appreciated even more the fact t
