Seasons Greetings! Do you know what King Wenceslass favourite pizza is? (Answer at end of this column). December is not my favourite time of year with misty, dark, short days and what I call Christmas Creep which means the so-called festive season extends all through the month, and everything is so commercialised. Im old-fashioned enough to put up the tree and decorations (trimmings now I live in Yorkshire) on Christmas Eve. The last few years we have cut the top off a holly and used it for our Christmas tree it looks lovely with glossy leaves and bright berries. In our family we usually have a Thanksgiving dinner at the end of November as my husband, Jim, is originally from the USA. This year there were 15 of us round the table from three generations and we had musical crackers, guitar accompaniment, piano thumping and maracas. What larks!
