It’s nothing new to take a figure from classical mythology or ancient history and apply his name to something modern. Zeus was the most powerful of the Greek gods, so the name even sort of fits. Nero, the Roman emperor associated with the burning of the city of Rome, is associated with burning software. Can you think of any other recent uses of the old names for modern computer culture?
