Do you know of any free job search websites that use RSS feeds to distribute their job postings?
The free community website craigslist has everything available by RSS. You can even get RSS feeds of your favourite searches there. Start off by going to the craigslist for your area (the default is for the San Francisco Bay Area, but craigslist has local listings for hundreds of areas across the world). Then, select the job category that you want. If you want to see everything in that job category, click on the RSS icon on the bottom right corner of the page. That will give you an RSS feed for that category. If you want to create an RSS feed for your search (say you’re a Java developer, so you only want ads that mention Java in them), first enter your search term in the box at the top of the category screen. After you’ve executed that search, you can then click on the same RSS icon at the bottom of the screen — it will have a RSS feed for your search. Sources: ww
