Do you know how to separate political party rhetoric from real discourse ?
You need an understanding of history & politics. In many cases politicians want you to believe that history began yesterday. If you fall for the concept of history beginning yesterday or at any other point, they have you. The media must be factored in to the equation. They have an agenda & news that fits into that agenda makes the front page. If it doesn’t fit into that agenda it is placed on an inconspicous location where it is likely to be overlooked or it is not printed at all. The liberal media agenda aligns with the Democrat (liberal) agenda & they form a partnership. Al Gore is an excellent example. Al, the Southern Democrat arrives at the Capitol ready to go to work and he is pro-gun & anti-abortion. I don’t remember how long he held those positions, but you can’t have those positions & be a real Democrat & get party funds & support. So Al does a 180 on at least those 2 issues.
