After reading for several hours I still can’t locate the answer to my question. I was told (after being shipped 55watt bulbs instead of the 65’s I ordered) that because I have a 65watt ballast, actually I have a CSL 4×65 hood, that the 55’s they sent would burn at 65 watts and that the bulbs are actually interchangeable. Can you confirm this? I can’t seem to find any info that states this. If it is true, will running them in a hood designed for 65 watt lamps shorten there useful life or possibly create more unwanted heat? Thanks again for a great site. Mike Balzanelli
