DO you know anything about the brand “General” for antique pocket watches?

I own many books, almanacs, magazines and catalogs about watches. I do not recall this brand, but it is hard to remember them all. I have written 5 books about watches. One is “611 Recent Watch Brands”. I shall look in my books and see if I find anything about General. I am wearing a 1915 IWC today. This is a Swiss brand that was founded in 1868 by Florentine Ariosto Jones, and American who went to Switzerland to make watches. Yesterday I wore a 1956 Jaeger-LeCoultre. Antoine LeCoultre began it in 1833.
