From what I gather, the Intelligence Corps is a very difficult Corps to get into. There is a direct entry scheme for Officers, but one needs to apply as a General Service Officer. Assuming the candidate successfully passes the Officer Selection Board (a difficult endeavour indeed), there’s no guarantee of being selected to train as an Intelligence Corps Officer – you may end up in the Ordnance or Transport Corps instead. There’s a very broad spectrum of jobs and tasks in Intelligence, varying from analysing intelligence (such as captured maps, photos and radio transcripts) to translating foreign languages. Other than that, it’s fairly hard to know what they do specifically until you’re in it.
