Do you know anything about Bartholins cyst excision surgery?

I have seen a very large one drained & a catheter placed to keep it open so it won’t swell up again. This surgery should eliminate your problems as there is not a gland to get infected & swollen. You’ll probably be a little sore & should keep as clean as possible to prevent infection of the incision. I’m sure if you are having this surgery, then the discomfort is nothing you aren’t used to. I don’t think it will even be that bad! Hope this helps. You can take ibuprophen for pain, use cold packs in 1st 24hrs & warm packs after 1st 24hrs for discomfort.
