STA is a travel agent. They are not a tour company but they will be able to refer you to a lot of tour companies aimed at young people. There are plenty of companies around the world for young people and some that are open to anyone but mainly appeal to young people. If you want nightlife and to see the main sights in a short amount of time and to be looked after then Contiki and Topdeck would be your main ones. They go around on their own tour buses and have around 30 people on a bus and camp or stay in hotels. If you want to get off the beaten track a bit in smaller groups that use local transport and are more of a ‘traveller’ rather than ‘tourist’ experience then Intrepid is great. There is also Independent Traveller and Geckos. In Europe (busabout) and many other places around the world like Canada (Moose bus), NZ (Kiwi experience) and AUS and Africa there are hop-on-hop-off buses where you pay for a certain number of trips and can get on and off as you wish, then get on the next b
