I am the person def. to answer this question. San Luis Potosi is the most amazing place ever!!! I live in Aquismon San Luis Potosi. I really hope that you get to visit the Huasteca Region. Tradition is very strong and respect for others is held about all else. I truly prefer SLP to the USA. When you walk down the street everyone says good day and everyone reaches out their hands to yours. People are poor and many live in adobe or wooden homes. In most of SLP there is not water nor electricity, but natural beauty will take your breath away. Roses literally grow wild, and fruit is plentiful. Right outside my door there are peaches, mangos, oranges, bananas, avocados, chayote, nonas, coffee, papaya, guava, and so much more. I think sometimes that God has placed the fruit there because he knows how much the people struggle to survive, and that is his way of keeping them vital.
