I looked at the history of their web site on www.archive.org; the web site petered out in mid-2007, and then disappeared. Then I found this reference on another web site (www.hpmuzzleloading.com/legislation2.html): Then, there was the International Blackpowder Hunting Association, which went belly up about a year and a half ago. (I was Life Member No. 24.) That organization published a great magazine (Blackpowder Hunting), but did way too little when it came to fighting for muzzleloader hunter rights. Understaffed, all efforts were spent keeping the magazne afloat. This was published 8-13-08, so the reference to “a year and a half ago” would have been Februrary of 2007. Sounds like it dissolved right close to the time you and your ex were splitting up, and trying to get mail forwarded and so forth.
