Answer Hi Caren, I don’t really know any CD or DVD that would teach sight-singing although I’m sure they are out there. Not sure how helpful they really will be. Anyway – I don’t know these sites but they do look like possibilities. You might also ask her teacher if she/he has any recommendations. Having said that, I think the best way to learn to read music is to study piano. Not only do you learn to read music better but also you then have the ability to help yourself learn the repertoire as she gets older.
