Do you have any performance metrics for how much load a RoboServer can handle?

Doing a performance metric have so far been close to impossible, simply because of the broad range of applications for which the RoboSuite application can be used, and thus I can not provide you with any hard facts. But the rule of thumb that I stick to when asked, is that a medium sized server (2 GHz Pentium IV, 1 GB RAM, 100Mbit LAN/WAN access running a windows OS) will be able to execute about 200.000 simple requests per day. Here a “simple request” would be the execution of a simple robot taking a set of input parameters, submitting these to a form and retrieving 1-5 results. This by coincidence matches the setup of a clip robot. So doing a bit of reverse math on the numbers, would give you a average peak performance of about 2,5 requests per second. If you were to run clipping robots only, my estimate would be about 4 requests per second per server (of the type shown above). But when it comes down to it, only a test run against the actual sites with the appropriate robots will giv
