Do you have any objections to granting Pagan police officers the right to take festivals as holidays?

I have a mate in the police force who happens to be pagan, he just books those days off when he needs to, no-one particularly cares what his reasons are so long as he books the time off in advance. Incidentally plenty of Christian police officers still end up working Christmas day since just about any officer with kids will want that day off, the trade off as I’ve had it explained isn’t between Jewish officers or Muslim officers and Christians it’s between family men/women who want Christmas off and younger singletons who wanna party on new years eve without having to work hungover.

Considering police officers take off “Christian” holidays, which originated from Pagan holidays, I can’t imagine why there’d be a problem.
