Do you have any idea how much it costs to manufacture curved specialized rails, like on modern steel rollercoasters ?
Software to design these exists already. Note: both support pylons and rails are hollow, old hat task since 1960 start of modern winding rollercoasters. In addition, the final word has not been spoken on rails: It might be preferable to run the cars on a flat surface with a recessed center for the body of the cart, with horizontally mounted side wheels for directional stability. Keep in mind that this is a very light system. We are also examining pre-stressed concrete as attractive option.
