Do you have any dyno results for the 5+ Shaker systems?
No. Based on previous experience, we have seen an average of 2% to 3% gain in HP. However, it is difficult to achieve a true ‘gain’ number on a dyno, as you cannot replicate the high wind speeds (and wind volume) the Shaker sees at highway and/or racing speeds. There is a modest increase of performance do to the high flow filter included in the kit as well as an added source of cool air. A more substantial gain in performance can be achieved through retuning as with all cold air intake systems for the ’05-’06 Mustang. If styling is your main objective the Shaker does not require a retune or computer re-flash.
