Do You Have a Last Minute Teaching Vacancy?
You run a small school for toddlers through kindergarten. You have had a couple of really great years. The past few weeks have been encouraging. Enrolment is at 95%. There have been calls inquiring about places every day. Then suddenly your worst nightmare unfolds. One of your best teachers calls late in the evening to say that her father is dying. She is an only child. She has to go and deal with that family situation. Immediately. What do you do now?
