Yes. If it’s not fun or satisfying – don’t do it. If it is fun and satisfying – do it big. That’s why I love to spend Christmas in the south. Because they go all out – and because they put pecans on everything just like my grandma did. What is your very favourite part of your job? Shopping and travelling. Shopping and travelling. Shopping and travelling. That, and sharing new ideas with my viewers. Fans tell me constantly that I’m so real. That’s because when I’m talking on television – I’m talking to you. Know what I mean? I know you are there, I know you care so much about the choices you need to make and I know that you have a limited budget but unlimited dreams. I like to keep it all in perspective – make it fun and rewarding and approachable. After all, it’s just decorating!
