They aren’t the only ancient cultures that built them. Pyramids as a world wide cultural phenomenon is an interesting study. Especially interesting are how the pyramids built by many cultures line up with the stars…etc. Yes, pyramids are structurally sound, however, there is more to it than that.

Do you find the fact that both Ancient Egyptian and Mayan civilizations built pyramids fascinating? –A lot more fascinating then the Dark Ages. Pyramids are a clear indication of civilized progress, to know that people have achieved that is respectable.
