Here is another dumb idea (one of many) which the National Park Service has come up with. I am fed up with them in general. They are going down a road only to draw in tourists and nothing else, and they will ruin the environment to do so. Now, cell towers aren’t generally destroying the environment as long as it is done smart. Someone mentioned that frequencies are messing up bee navigation…that is yet to be determined. But the National Park Service is going to eventually screw things up, if they have not done so already. Gifford Pinchot once said “We can have our cake, and we can eat it too” when talking to John Muir about conserving our land. Gifford was probably one of the smartest conservationists to ever live, and I am proud to be born and living in the state he came from (Pennsylvania).
