Do you ever worry that dubstep will go that way as it becomes increasingly more popular?
Popularity is not a bad thing; it depends on whether what gets pushed to the dubstep crowd is good or not. As long as people keep it real and don’t sell themselves out then it should be cool. So where do you see dubstep progressing in the future? I wouldn’t like to say, because I couldn’t have told you last year where it would be today. I just hope it gets better. I’m still waiting for someone to come through with something ultra-fresh. Dubstep is blowing up in America though, so who knows where that will take it. You are most well known for your partnership with Benga; are there any new collaborations on the cards? I heard rumours of something with Goldie… Working with Goldie is a possibility but nothing is finalised yet.
