Do you/did you have to complete required community service hours to graduate high school?
I did, 180 hours. It sounds like a lot, but 180 hours over 4 years (realistically 2 years because nobody thinks of starting early), is nothing. Also, it was amazingly rewarding – both emotionally and fiscally. Thanks to doing obscene community service hours (I ended up doing around 450), I got an extra scholarship that I wasn’t expecting, and I ended up getting paid to attend college.
