Haven’t seen the theory, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s an easy answer. If you are a creationist, the chicken came first. If you are an evolutionarist, the egg came first (because genetically speaking, the mutation that produced the egg made it a certain %age genetically more chicken than the previous generation).
