The Ottomans did a heck of a job of converting these Serbs into Muslims during their 600 year occupation. The conversion terms were simple “either denounce your Christian faith and convert to Islam – or off with your heads”. So instead of fighting and dying, many elected to keep their heads by becoming Muslim. It’s funny (if it wasn’t so sad) how during Tito’s time, all of Yugoslavia lived in a state of brotherhood. Sure, there were ethnic tensions and jokes about all regions of the state – (Serbs are like this, Bosnians are like that, don’t even get me going about the Crnogorci) – but in general, Yugoslavia was the most Western Eastern European Country with one of the highest standards of living in the region. It all went to hell when the Great Satan decided to break this little union up. So the Vatican financed and armed the Catholic Croats, the Saudis financed and armed the Muslim Bosnians (even delivered AlQuaida fighters to them (who were further trained by the CIA and Special Ops
