Do you believe that some women pursue 1st Grade Rugby League players purely for sex?
Of course they do! And many other sports too. Some have this weird fantasy that one will fall in love with them and they can then lead the high life of a “WAG” and get all the lurks and perks that go with that role. (Oh yeah! please let my life be dictated by the footy/cricket/whatever seasons). Others just want something to brag about to their mates. There was a docco on SBS a while ago that followed a couple of young girls around who were pursuing League players (not sure if they were from the NRL or a lower league). They came across as being extremely immature and naive in their actions. Getting smashed, picking up some bloke and thinking it was love. Of course the majority of the guys were only after a bit of fun. And as we have seen in recent times, it is a very fine line between a bit of fun and not a lot of fun for some.
