No, I don’t believe in “God”, especially not as It’s presented in the Bible. But just for the sake of provoking thought, I’d like to examine things from the Creationist viewpoint for a moment: By much the same logic used in the “Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve” argument, it could also be said that since God only created two people at first, and those two people must have had particular racial and ethnic characteristics, then there must be a divinely sanctioned “Right” race as well as a God-Approved “Right” sexual orientation. See, the logic that one particular thing is “Right” just because God supposedly made it so in the beginning could be used to support any number of ridiculous positions. Like much of the Bible, it’s all a matter of how you look at it.

Either you believe that God created mankind – which includes Adam, Eve, and Steve – or, you believe that mankind evolved naturally from the primordial ooze. Either way, Adam, Eve, and Steve are here, so I don’t believe the “old” saying. If one believes in evolution, then he/she does not believe that God created anything-everything just happened by chance, including homosexuality. Therefore, the saying is false. If one believes God created mankind then he created gay people too. The old saying is unbelievable either way, in my opinion.
