Do you believe in the libertarian ideal that *all* welfare should be abolished (including SS/medicare)?
When I say I want small government, that doesn’t mean I want millions of the most vulnerable in America to suffer and die needlessly. Despite what Libertarians may believe, there are people in this country who truly do need help through no fault of their own and the only way they can be guaranteed that is through the federal government. I do not oppose helping those who can never help themselves due to age, disability or some child who has no parents. No civilize society can disconnect itself from those who can never take care of themselves.
