Do you always see the dead roundworms in the dogs stool after taking the Drontal Plus?

I’m worried my dog has been misdiagnosed with roundworms because because prior to being diagnosed he had no symptoms. The vet said we should see the dead worms in his stool after taking the Drontal and we haven’t.
