Do you alter a golf clubs lie angle before you cut it to length?
Well, i don’t think you should. You need to know how much the lie is off by, so you can adjust the clubs, and the only way to do this is to have it at the proper length. If you have a longer club it will obviously be upright anyway so you will need to adjust the lie angle by more than you should really need. The best advice is have the club cut to the proper size then adjust the lie angle.
