As a psychology major, yes I can understand the thought process behind not wanting to call it the naughty step. However, I really don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Sometimes people just over think things. However, if you are uncomfortable with the name, just rename it to the time out spot. I’ve got 3 kids of my own and that’s where we send them, to time out. It’s a spot where they can reflect over what was done, why they shouldn’t have done it, and what they could have done instead.

What is your question?
