Okay, climb down off your arrogance for a moment. Many people believe that science degrees are more difficult to get than arts degrees. This is just because shallow-minded people are more impressed by ‘scientists’ in white coats. Yes, sad, I know. The reality, of course, is different. When a university awards a degree in a particular subject, it has to compare favourably in its standard with other degree subjects. When looking at science and arts degrees, one has to be aware that there are many differences in the skills that are needed, and that are gained in study. Your attitude is a bit like someone saying that an apple is far better than a pear. This is fatuous, of course. The apple and the pear are fundamentally the same, but differ in appearance and taste. One can’t be ‘better’ than the other; this is being too subjective. Similarly, your statement about an arts degree being easier than a science degree is asinine.
