Do yo think it is right tat slavery was abolishished??
I think all forms of slavery is immoral and wrong whether the slave lives a lavish lifestyle in a gilded cage or a cruel and horrible tortured existence is a complete personal hell. The sad fact is, there are now more slaves of all kinds in the world today then there ever have been, it’s a simple fact that abolishing something doesn’t make it cease to exist; it just goes underground, and it still needs to be sought out and stopped where ever it still exists. I also belive it was Bob Marley who said something about mental slavery, having a slave mentality which also needs to be fought against and eliminated, but i think being a servant or butler as long as the compensation is fair is a form of employment like any other. Maybe the idea of one person hireing another for personal service is as distastful to you as it is me though.
