Do yellow lines have to have signs stating there is no parking?
The regulations governing the requirements for signing parking regulations have changed. Double yellow lines no longer require a sign plate indicating “No waiting at any time”. Over time, all existing “No waiting at any time” sign plates will be removed. Other parking restrictions, such as limited waiting, still have to have a sign plate indicating the duration of the restriction e.g.
