Do Yeast Infections and Urinary Tract Infections go away on their own?
No, not always. If your infection is severe, you will have to see a doctor so you can get antibiotics. But yes, it is possible to treat both things at home. I don’t get yeast infections often, but all the women in my family are very prone to urinary tract infections. My sister had it checked out before and it turns out she has an unusual bend in her urethra, which is also probably why my mother and I are prone to them. The best cure for UTIs is cranberry. You can buy cranberry supplement pills, or drink juice, but be warned about cranberry juice. You need to check the nutritional label to find a cranberry juice that has the highest juice content possible with the lowest sugar content. Sugar breeds bacteria and can intensify urinary pain. I also recommend cystex pills. They are kind of expensive, but they work wonders at relieving urinary pain. If you can’t find them in with other OTC drugs, look near the pads & tampons or near yeast infection meds at your drugstore. If you can’t get to
Yeast Infections and Urinary Track Infections don’t just go away on their own. The symptoms may go away a little bit, but if gone untreated it is not good. If you think you may have one, you need to get on some antibiotics and get it taken care of. UTI’s are not fun if gone untreated and the same with YI. Go see a Dr. and get the right treatments. If you think you had one a few weeks ago and are fine now, I would go see a Dr. to just make sure your fine and that it wasn’t or isn’t something worse. Good luck!
