Yamaha Motor Corp is a huge company. Like most big companies they can seem a bit distant from the end-user. I own a 23′ Yamaha twin engine jetboat as well as 5 motorcycles and a quad. The products are terrific and if you maintain them properly, they will give you years of enjoyment. If you fail to maintain them and then try to look to the manufacturer to resolve the problem you created, then you may find yourself in a tough spot. They do offer a good Warranty program for many of their products. If you beleive in Warranties, then I suggest you consider one. Their spare parts are not really that expensive compared with the other major manufacturers. If you use the internet to your advantage you can find Yamaha parts at a reasonalbe cost. There are also many aftermarket suppliers making parts for Yamaha products. If you do have a reason to contact their customer service people, just treat them as you would like to be treated – fairly, and I think you’ll get the response you need. I always
