Yes, any film camera is susceptible to fogging or color shifts by X-ray or airport backscatter scanner. In fact, the checked luggage scanners are actually worse and the TSA personnel routinely warn passengers not to have any film in their checked luggage. Instead, you need to carry your film/disposable cameras in your carry-on luggage and you need to ask for a “hand inspection” at the TSA checkpoint. This means that they will look at the cameras/film without sending it through the X-ray machine.
