Do women seriously get significantly lighter sentences for criminal activity compared to men?
That statement is actually debatable,if you research the topic…it’s really a draw…it depends. There are examples where women carry a higher sentence…for example. The 1st degree murder of a “husband” carries (statistically) a higher sentence then the 1st degree murder of a “wife” There is also the argument that male jails are more over populated then females…and again by looking at the numbers. Males are more likely to get off without serving there entire time. For good behavior and to simply get them out of the system faster…there isnt this/or as much pressure to get women out of the system as it’s not as over crowded.
It depends, actually. Sometimes men, other times women. But all in all, criminals accumulate with each others regardless of their gender, you see. For instance, sex-slavery in Israel, women are sold for 8 000 up to 50 000 $, while work with contracts in somehow a similar way. People sometimes say that Jews subjugate women, but in fact it’s not.
