Do women need tha Equal Rights Amendment?
Manifestly not since it was opposition by women which largely stopped it. What the radical feminist extremists keep denying, despite all the evidence, is that most women don’t want anything to do with the term “feminist” any more, as a brand it’s become too tarnished by the fringe elements. Back in the ’60s it was women who provided some of the most extreme opposition to much of the Feminist movement. That is why after Roe vs. Wade there hasn’t been a single major piece of legislation that can rightfully be attributed to the Feminist Cause. The ERA died from lack of support back in the ’70s and despite the whining from it’s backers it has no more hope of passage today, especially since ever increasing numbers of women are getting into positions of power and wealth without it.
