Do WMA files sound better than VQF files? What about MP3?

The WMA format is an improvement over the VQF format in that it handles lower frequencies (bass) much better and still maintains the high quality of higher frequency (treble) data that the vqf format is known for; in some instances, better. Those who listen to chinese music/songs would not mind lower bass quality but for those who are into english music/songs, MP3 would be more suitable.
